|
The Department of
Health and Human Services will require ongoing General Fund appropriations of
$2,734,447 in fiscal year 2025-26 and $2,734,447 in fiscal year 2026-27 to
increase from 70% to 90% the state reimbursement rate for the costs of
municipal general assistance. The bill increases the reimbursement rate
incrementally to 90% as of July 1, 2030 for the 6 municipalities with the
highest general assistance costs and increases the rate to 90% as of July 1,
2026 for all other municipalities. |
