This bill
increases the maximum permissible size of a recreational campfire. The Department of Agriculture, Conservation
and Forestry has indicated that this change would require a new educational
outreach campaign to inform members of the public. The department would require a one-time
General Fund appropriation of $43,000 in fiscal year 2025-26 for costs
related to printed materials and public service announcements. |
