This bill
includes a one-time General Fund appropriation of $1,000,000 in fiscal year
2025-26 to the University of Maine System (UMS) to establish a criminal
justice legal aid clinic 3-year pilot project within the University of Maine
School of Law. Additional costs for
the UMS to prepare and submit the required reports can be absorbed within
existing budgeted resources. |
