This bill
provides complimentary antlerless deer permits to landowners who meet
specified criteria. This change will result in a reduction of $384,132 in
General Fund revenue beginning in fiscal year 2025-26. This estimate assumes
that approximately 32,000 landowner-designated permits, currently part of the
statutory allocation and distributed through the lottery system, will no
longer incur the standard $12 permit fee. |
