Fiscal Detail
and Notes |
This bill would
provide complimentary antlerless deer permits to landowners who meet
specified criteria. Beginning in fiscal year 2025-26, this change is expected
to reduce General Fund revenue by $384,132. This estimate assumes that
approximately 32,000 landowner-designated permits, which are currently part
of the statutory allocation and distributed through the lottery system, will
no longer generate the standard $12 permit fee. |
