Fiscal Detail and Notes
	This bill includes ongoing General Fund appropriations of $30,000 per year beginning in fiscal year 2025-26 to the University of Maine System for the costs associated with providing administrative support to the Maine Commission on Native American Indian Affairs. This estimate assumes the cost of the salary and benefits for a 0.25 full-time equivalent position as well as the cost of hosting up to 6 public meetings per year.
	This bill also includes ongoing Other Special Revenue Funds base allocations of $500 per year beginning in fiscal year 2025-26 to the Maine Commission on Native American Indian Affairs to authorize expenditures for per diem and other costs of the commission in the event that funds are received from federal and other outside sources.
