The University of
Maine System will require ongoing General Fund appropriations of $30,000 per
year beginning in fiscal year 2025-26 for the costs associated with providing
administrative support to the Maine Commission on Native American Indian
Affairs. This estimate assumes the
cost for the salary and benefits of a 0.25 full-time equivalent position as
well as the cost of hosting up to 6 public meetings per year. |
|
The Maine
Commission on Native American Indian Affairs will also require ongoing Other
Special Revenue Funds base allocations of $500 per year beginning in fiscal
year 2025-26 to authorize expenditures for per diem and other costs of the
commission in the event that funds are received from federal and other
outside sources. |
