This bill
includes one-time General Fund appropriations of $250,000 per year in fiscal
year 2025-26 and fiscal year 2026-27 only to the General Purpose Aid for
Local Schools program within the Department of Education to provide funding
to the Maine School of Science and Mathematics for financial support to
in-state students who demonstrate a need for room and board expenses. |
