Fiscal Detail
and Notes |
The Department of
Health and Human Services will require General Fund appropriations of $57,490
in fiscal year 2025-26 and $59,709 in fiscal year 2026-27 to establish one
Health Services Consultant Position in the Office of MaineCare Services.
Federal Expenditures Fund allocations will also be required for the FMAP
match. |
Allowing health
care providers licensed in another state to provide telehealth services to a
patient in the State under certain conditions may result in a loss of revenue
to boards within and affiliated with the Department of Professional and
Financial Regulation impacted by this legislation due to a reduction in
licensing and other fees. The impact can not be estimated at this time. |
