Eliminating the
Maine Community College System Free Community College - 2 Enrollment Years
program will result in General Fund savings of approximately $12.5 million
per year beginning in fiscal year 2025-26 through fiscal year 2029-30. Public Law 2023, chapter 412, Part QQQ
extended eligibility for the program through the high school graduating class
of 2025 or a person who obtains the equivalent of a high school diploma in
2025 and who enrolls in a Maine community college no later than the 2027-2028
academic year. |
