This amendment
would remove the emergency preamble. If this bill is enacted without the
emergency preamble and the Legislature adjourns the First Regular Session
after March 31, 2025, the initiatives affecting fiscal year 2024-25 will not
become effective in fiscal year 2024-25 regardless of when the bill is
enacted. Similarly, removing the emergency preamble could delay the
availability of funding provided in the bill for fiscal year 2025-26 but will
not affect overall funding levels provided for each year of the biennium. |
