The Department of Health and Human Services will require General Fund appropriations of $1,825,000 in fiscal year 2025-26 and $2,150,000 in fiscal year 2026-27 to reimburse child care providers for subsidies under the Maine Child Care Affordability Program based on enrollment rather than attendance.
