The additional
workload associated with the minimal number of new cases filed in the court
system does not require additional funding at this time. The collection of additional fines will
increase General Fund or other dedicated revenue by minor amounts. |

The Department
would require a one-time Highway Fund allocation of $625,000 in fiscal year
2026-27 to perform an assessment of certain state and state-aid roads to meet
the requirements of the legislation.
This amount includes consulting fees to perform the assessment, road
signage and costs to install the signs. |
