The bill includes
General Fund appropriations of $85,732 in fiscal year 2025-26 and $86,378 in
fiscal year 2026-27 to the Department of Public Safety for one limited-period
Office Assistant II position and related costs to compile a list of aqueous
film-forming foam concentrate possessed by any public entity in the State in
an amount of 5 gallons or more and to solicit similar information from
private entities. The bill includes a corresponding transfer from the Maine
Solid Waste Management Fund within the Department of Environmental Protection
to the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund to offset the cost of the
limited-period position. |
