This amendment
reduces the one-time General Fund appropriation in the bill provided for
grants to local school administrative units to collaborate on changing school
start times by $25,000 in fiscal year 2025-26. |
|
As amended, this
bill includes General Fund appropriations totaling $181,078 in fiscal year
2025-26 to the Department of Education to implement and administer the school
start time grant program. Of that
amount, $75,000 is appropriated for grants to local school administrative
units to collaborate on changing school start times such that secondary
schools have a later start time than elementary schools and $106,078 is
appropriated for one contracted position to implement and administer the
grant program. |
