This amendment
reduces the ongoing General Fund appropriations in the bill by $1,375,000 per
year beginning in fiscal year 2025-26. |
|
As amended, this
bill includes ongoing General Fund appropriations of $125,000 per year
beginning in fiscal year 2025-26 to the School and Student Supports program
within the Department of Education to help students avoid homelessness by
providing liaisons designated pursuant to the federal McKinney-Vento Homeless
Education Assistance Improvements Act of 2001 access to emergency financial
assistance for the family of a student in an amount of up to $750 per
student. |
