Fiscal Detail and Notes
The Department of Health and Human Services will require General Fund appropriations of $186,420 in fiscal year 2025-26 and $288,854 in fiscal year 2026-27 to provide reimbursement under the MaineCare program for doula services and for a one-time appropration for required technology changes. Federal Expenditures Fund and Federal Block Grant Fund allocations will also be required for the FMAP match. These required expenditures assume a January 1, 2026 start date.
