This bill
prohibits the use of rodenticides in outdoor residential settings unless
applied by a licensed applicator. Approximately 117 rodenticides are
currently registered for household use with the Board of Pesticides Control
within the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry. If
manufacturers choose not to renew product registrations due to the restricted
use, Other Special Revenue Funds revenue to the department could decrease by
up to $25,155 annually. |
