This amendment
removes General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human
Services to correct a clerical error. This bill limits housing assistance
paid by a municipal general assistance program for a person residing in a
recovery residence with 26 or more beds (large recovery residence) to 70% of
the maximum level of housing assistance for a person in a recovery residence
with 25 or fewer beds and requires the Department of Health and Human
Services to reimburse municipalities for 100% of the 70% paid for a person in
a large recovery residence. The changes in the bill are cost neutral to the
department. |
