The additional
workload associated with the minimal number of new cases filed in the court
system does not require additional funding at this time. The collection of
additional fines will increase General Fund or other dedicated revenue by
minor amounts. |

This bill includes
a revenue decrease to the General Fund of $138,050 in fiscal year 2025-26 and
$798,600 in fiscal year 2026-27 by prohibiting the sale of tobacco products
in pharmacies and retail establishments containing pharmacies effective April
1, 2026. The bill also includes a revenue decrease to the Local Government
Fund of $950 in fiscal year 2025-26 and $5,400 in fiscal year 2026-27. |

Any additional
costs to the Department of Health and Human Services to adopt the changes in
this bill are expected to be minor and can be absorbed within existing
budgeted resources. |
