|
This amendment
removes the fee increases for certain inland fishing licenses included in the
committee amendment, eliminating $1,474,000 in projected General Fund revenue
beginning in fiscal year 2025-26. |
|
The amendment
retains provisions from the committee amendment that (1) establish a new
program, (2) expand the allowable uses of the existing Fish Hatchery
Maintenance Fund (FHMF), an Other Special Revenue Funds account, and (3)
require that $2 from each license sold be deposited into the FHMF. |
|
As a result,
approximately $500,000 in license revenue that would otherwise have been
credited to the General Fund will instead be deposited into the FHMF as Other
Special Revenue Funds revenue beginning in fiscal year 2025-26. |
