The bill includes
a one-time General Fund appropriation to the Department of Public Safety of
$219,376 in fiscal year 2025-26 for consulting costs to convene the
stakeholder group to study whether tianeptine should be added to the list of
scheduled drugs and report the results. |
|
Any additional
costs to the Department of Health and Human Services, the Governor’s Office
of Policy Innovation and the Future and the Judicial Branch to participate in
the stakeholder group are expected to be minor and can be absorbed within
existing budgeted resources. |
