|
This bill
establishes the Inclusive Higher Education Grant Program to be administered
by the Department of Education to support postsecondary educational
opportunities for students with intellectual disabilities, developmental
disabilities or autism spectrum disorder by awarding competitive grants to
institutions of higher education in the State to develop an inclusive higher
education plan. No funding is included
in the bill for the initial start-up costs or the grant program. The Department of Education has indicated
that it will require one Education Specialist III position and related All
Other costs to administer the grant program if funding is provided. |
