The bill creates
the Production and Delivery of Election Materials Fund within the Department
of Secretary of State. The bill
includes a one-time Other Special Revenue Funds allocation to the Department
of Secretary of State of $410,000 in fiscal year 2025-26 to support costs
associated with the production and delivery of election materials. The bill
provides for biennial transfers from the unappropriated surplus of the
General Fund to the Fund of $410,000 in fiscal year 2025-26 to fund the
election materials costs. The bill also provides that if the balance in the
Fund exceeds $1,500,000 the difference must be transferred to the
unappropriated surplus of the General Fund. |
