|
The bill creates
the Production and Delivery of Election Materials Fund within the Department
of Secretary of State. The bill
includes Other Special Revenue Funds allocations to the Department of
Secretary of State of $266,000 beginning in fiscal year 2025-26 to support
costs associated with the production and delivery of election materials. The bill provides for annual transfers from
the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund to the Fund of $266,000
beginning in fiscal year 2025-26 to fund the election materials costs. |

Additional costs
to the Department of Education for the commissioner or the commissioner's
designee to serve on the working group can be absorbed within existing
budgeted resources. Additional costs
to the Department of Secretary of State to convene the working group and
submit a report are also expected to be minor and can be absorbed within
existing budgeted resources. |
