|
This bill
includes Other Special Revenue Funds allocations totaling $12,000,000 in
fiscal year 2024-25 to the Maine Apprenticeship Program within the Department
of Labor to support registered preapprenticeship training programs. Of this amount, $11,887,635 is allocated on
a one-time basis for grants to support the training programs and $112,365 is
allocated on an ongoing basis for one Program Manager Employment &
Training position and related All Other costs to administer the grant
program. A one-time transfer of
$12,000,000 from the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund to the Maine
Apprenticeship Program is provided in fiscal year 2024-25 to fund the
program. |
