	This resolve authorizes Ireland Farms, Inc. in Presque Isle, Maine, which claims to have suffered damages in connection with actions taken by the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry, to sue the department for damages as a result of those actions and waives the statutory limitations on damage recovery. If the plaintiffs are successful, a General Fund appropriation will be required to fund a payout. The amount and timing of any payment will depend on when the suit is settled and its outcome.
	Any additional costs to the Office of the Attorney General associated with court action arising from this bill are expected to be minor and can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
