This amendment
removes the General Fund appropriation of $11,550 in fiscal year 2024-25 to
the Department of Secretary of State that has indicated it can absorb the
costs associated with the legislative per diem to certain members of the
Maine Semiquincentennial Commission. The amendment adds an appropriation of
$7,080 in fiscal year 2024-25 to the Legislature for the costs of legislators
serving on the Commission. The amendment also removes the emergency preamble. |
