|
This bill directs
the Governor's Energy Office (GEO) to evaluate designs for and recommend a
program to procure commercially available utility-scale energy storage
systems connected to the transmission and distribution systems and to study
and report findings on long-duration energy storage. The bill allows the GEO
to request up to $300,000 from the Public Utilities Commission Reimbursement
Fund for expenditures related to these directives. Any additional costs to
the Public Utilities Commission from the provisions of this bill are expected
to be minor and can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
