This amendment
eliminates the ongoing General Fund appropriations of $6.2 million per year
beginning in fiscal year 2023-24 to a newly established Outdoor School for
All Maine Students Fund within the University of Maine System to administer a
program to support immersive outdoor education and to assist school
administrative units in partnering with outdoor education programs and
instead provides ongoing Other Special Revenue Funds allocations of $500 per
year beginning in fiscal year 2023-24 to the same program to authorize the
spending of any funds received from public or private sources. |
