This amendment
removes the requirement that the Department of Environmental Protection
conduct certain regulatory and enforcement activities while keeping its
authority to investigate potential violations of the provisions of the bill.
The Environmental Specialist III position in the bill and the General Fund
appropriations that were to begin in fiscal year 2023-24 to fund it are
removed. |
