This amendment
directs the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to administer and
enforce the provisions of this bill within existing budgeted resources. The
Environmental Specialist III position in the bill and the General Fund
appropriations of $70,713 beginning in fiscal year 2023-24 to fund it are
removed. The impact on other programs within DEP of performing the
responsibilities required by the bill without an additional position cannot
be determined at this time. |
