Correctional and Judicial Impact Statements
Establishes new civil violations. The additional workload associated with the minimal number of new cases filed in the court system does not require additional funding at this time.
The collection of additional fines will increase General Fund or other dedicated revenue by minor amounts.
Legislative Cost/Study
The Legislature’s budget includes sufficient funding for the Legislature to meet in daily session during the normal timeframe for a regular legislative session.  In addition, the budget assumes the Legislature will convene a special legislative session for two days each fiscal year. Whether these sessions and budgeted amounts are sufficient for the purpose of approving the acceptance and disbursement of new federal election funds will depend on the timing and frequency of the requests to approve these funds.
