The Legislature’s
budget includes sufficient funding for the Legislature to meet in daily
session during the normal timeframe for a regular legislative session. In addition, the budget assumes the
Legislature will convene a special legislative session for two days each
fiscal year. Whether these sessions and budgeted amounts are sufficient for
the purpose of approving the acceptance and disbursement of new federal
election funds will depend on the timing and frequency of the requests to
approve these funds. |
