This bill
includes one-time General Fund appropriations totaling $4,000,000 per year in
fiscal years 2023-24 and 2024-25 only to the Finance Authority of Maine. Of that amount, $1,000,000 per year is
provided for the Doctor's for Maine's Future Scholarship Fund, $2,000,000 per
year is provided for the Maine Health Care Provider Loan Repayment Program
Fund and $1,000,000 per year is provided for the Nursing Eduction Loan
Repayment Program. |

This bill also
includes General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human
Services of $2,500,000 per year in fiscal years 2023-24 and 2024-25 for the
Maine Medical Education Training and Residency Fund. |
