This bill
includes ongoing General Fund appropriations of $84,651 in fiscal year
2023-24 and $119,555 in fiscal year 2024-25 to the School and Student
Supports program within the Department of Education for one State Education
Representative position and related All Other costs to serve as the Keeping
Maine Children Connected Program Manager to develop, train and maintain a
statewide network of appropriate liaisons to assist children experiencing
disruption including homelessness or unstable residency, placement in foster
care, hospitalization or placement in a correctional institution. This fiscal note assumes an October 1, 2023
effective date. |
