This bill
includes one-time General Fund appropriations of $1,500,000 per year for
fiscal years 2023-24 and 2024-25 only to the School and Student Supports
program within the Department of Education for a 2-year pilot program to help
students avoid homelessness by providing McKinney-Vento liaisons access to
emergency financial assistance for the family of a student in an amount of up
to $750 per student. |
