The bill includes
General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of
$2,651,080 in fiscal year 2023-24 and $3,504,619 in fiscal year 2024-25 to
provide recovery residence placements to individuals who were receiving
services in correctional facilities and have been identified as no longer
requiring medication-assisted treatment or alternative treatment, including
weekly screening, and to establish one Comprehensive Health Planner II
position. |

The bill includes
General Fund appropriations of $5,935,135 beginning in fiscal year 2024-25 to
the Department of Corrections for medical and other costs related to
providing alternative treatments in correctional facilities for a person with
substance use disorder, including alcohol use disorder. |
