This bill
includes a one-time General Fund appropriation of $200,000 to the Department
of Corrections in fiscal year 2024-25 to partner with a community-based
organization to establish a pilot program to provide transitional living
services for individuals recently released from a correctional facility that
houses adult residents, which must include, but is not limited to, providing
temporary housing to such individuals and establishing and providing a master
leasing program that assists such individuals with rent support, life skills
coaching and other services. |
