|
The Maine Human
Rights Commission will require General Fund Appropriations of $109,536 in
fiscal year 2023-24 and $154,085 in fiscal year 2024-25 to establish one
Maine Human Rights Investigator position and one half-time Secretary
Associate Legal position to manage the anticipated increase in intakes and
complaints filed with the Commission due to adding vaccination status as a
protected class under the Maine Human Rights Act. These estimates assume an
effective date of October 1, 2023. |
