This bill
includes ongoing General Fund appropriations of $85,056 in fiscal year
2023-24 and $119,299 in fiscal year 2024-25 for one State Education
Representative position and related All Other costs to serve as a teacher
shortage coordinator to increase the recruitment of teachers in teacher
shortage areas, support and improve access to teacher preparation programs
for persons willing to teach in teacher shortage areas and otherwise support
education in teacher shortage areas.
This fiscal note assumes an October 1, 2023 effective date. |
