Fiscal Detail and Notes
This amendment removes the annual General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of $3,390,000 beginning in fiscal year 2023-24 and replaces it with a one-time Fund for a Healthy Maine allocation to the Department of Health and Human Services of $3,800,000 in fiscal year 2024-25 to be distributed to a single grantee who will provide management and oversight of the delivery of family planning services. Any additional funding for the program in future years will be provided through a transfer of lapsing funds from the Department of Administrative and Financial Services, State Benefit Mandate Defrayal program. An ongoing Other Special Revenue Funds allocation of $500 is provided to setup the account.
