This amendment
removes the annual General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health
and Human Services of $3,390,000 beginning in fiscal year 2023-24 and
replaces it with a one-time Fund for a Healthy Maine allocation to the
Department of Health and Human Services of $3,800,000 in fiscal year 2024-25
to be distributed to a single grantee who will provide management and
oversight of the delivery of family planning services. Any additional funding
for the program in future years will be provided through a transfer of
lapsing funds from the Department of Administrative and Financial Services,
State Benefit Mandate Defrayal program. An ongoing Other Special Revenue
Funds allocation of $500 is provided to setup the account. |
