This amendment
eliminates the ongoing General Fund appropriations totaling $1,901,778 per
year included in the bill beginning in fiscal year 2023-24 to the General
Purpose Aid for Local Schools program within the Department of Education to
support the Maine School of Science and Mathematics (MSSM) and instead
provides a one-time General Fund appropriation of $500,000 in fiscal year
2024-25 for the same purpose. |
