This amendment
eliminates the ongoing General Fund appropriations totaling $400,000 per year
beginning in fiscal year 2023-24 to the Office of Innovation program within
the Department of Education for the establishment of a mobile learning lab
for science, technology, engineering and mathematics and instead provides
one-time General Fund appropriations totaling $400,000 to the same program
within the department to be used for the same purpose. |
|
The $400,000
includes a one-time General Fund appropriation of $250,000 in fiscal year
2024-25 for a mobile learning lab to allow for students in all areas of the
State to engage in hands-on learning and a one-time General Fund
appropriation of $150,000 in fiscal year 2024-25 for contracted staffing
services to support the mobile learning lab. |
