This bill
includes ongoing General Fund appropriations totaling $400,000 per year
beginning in fiscal year 2023-24 to the Office of Innovation program within
the Department of Education for the establishment of a mobile learning lab
for science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Of that amount, $250,000 per year is
appropriated for a mobile learning lab to allow for students in all areas on
the State to engage in hands-on learning and $150,000 per year is appropriated
for contracted staffing services to support the mobile learning lab. |
