This bill includes
ongoing General Fund appropriations of $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2023-24 and
$2,000,000 in fiscal year 2024-25 to the Adult Education program within the
Department of Education to support adult education programs statewide. Additional costs to the department
associated with analyzing the State's adult education system and
reimbursement formula to ensure it meets certain criteria can be absorbed
within existing budgeted resources. |
