This amendment
adds additional criteria for the Public Utilities Commission to consider when
soliciting procurement bids from distributed energy resources. It also adds
an annual reporting requirement for the PUC regarding Net Energy Billing
costs and benefits for customers and transmission and distribution utilities.
The amendment adds an additional one-time allocation to the PUC of $101,020
in fiscal year 2023-24 and adds ongoing allocations of $50,511 beginning in
fiscal year 2024-25. An increase in the assessment on impacted utilities will
fund these allocations. |
