This bill
includes a one-time General Fund appropriation of $1,500,000 in fiscal year
2023-24 to a newly established Rural Recovery Residence Fund within the Maine
State Housing Authority for the acquisition of land or real property to
support the creation of certified recovery residences for families. |

Additional costs
to the Maine State Housing Authority associated with the rulemaking process
can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
