This bill amends
language enacted in Public Law 2021, chapter 752 associated with collective
bargaining between school administrative units and the bargaining agents for
teachers within the school administrative units to clarify that collective
bargaining agreements in school administrative units cannot waive the right
to bargain over wages, hours, working conditions and contract grievance
arbitration. Public Law 2021, chapter 752 included ongoing General Fund
appropriations of $52,200 per year beginning in fiscal year 2022-23 to
reimburse certain school administrative units for the mandated costs
associated with the provisions included in that legislation. This bill does
not change the fiscal impact of that enacted bill. |
