	Additional costs to the Department of Secretary of State associated with serving on the Commission to Commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the Founding of the United States and providing staff assistance to the commission can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. Any additional costs to the Maine State Library, the Maine State Museum and the Maine State Cultural Affairs Council associated with having a representative serve on the commission can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. The bill also establishes the Maine Semiquincentennial Fund to be administered by the Department of the Secretary of State on behalf of the commission.
