Fiscal Detail and Notes
	The bill provides an ongoing appropriation of $1,530 per year beginning in fiscal year 2023-24 for the costs of 2 members of the Legislature to serve on the Commission to Commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the Founding of the United States. Additional costs to the Maine State Library, the Maine State Museum and the Maine State Cultural Affairs Council associated with having a representative serve on the commission can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
	Additional costs to the Department of Secretary of State associated with serving on the commission and providing staff assistance to the commission can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
